About Us
A Few Words
About Us
Peace Cottage is dedicated to offering comprehensive care and support to the Upper Highway community. Our inception in 2015 marked the beginning of a journey to provide compassionate care in a homely environment. Under the Leadership of Sister Kerry Deare, who manages our operations full-time, the organization has seen tremendous growth and development.
Our presence is marked by six rest homes located in Kloof, Assagay, Waterfall and Hillcrest where we offer assisted living, dementia care, frail care, palliative care, post-hospital rehab and short-term respite care. In addition to these homes, we serve as care providers at Polo Pony and Waterfall Gardens.
Furthermore, our services extend to approximately 60 private residences in the Upper Highway area, where we offer personalized home-based care.
At Peace Cottage, we are committed to providing a safe, caring, and supportive environment for all our residents and clients. Our mission is to continue expanding our services and maintaining our high standards of care to meet the growing needs of our community.

Our staff are supported by a robust administrative department that handles HR and accounting, as well as ongoing internal training programs. We also maintain a collaborative relationship with Abafundi Training Centre, enabling their trainees to complete practical training in our homes.
